I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian when I was nine years old. I have always loved both science and animals and veterinary medicine allowed me to merge these interests.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences with a minor in Biology from the University of Delaware, followed by my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
Before joining Arlington Animal Hospital, I worked as a general practitioner in Brooklyn, New York; and prior to that, I practiced emergency medicine in Vermont and Delaware. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and am USDA accredited.
I have a particular interest in dermatology, dentistry and internal medicine. I wanted to become a general practitioner because I love preventative medicine and identifying and treating diseases early. In my spare time, I enjoy taking workout classes and trying new restaurants. I live with my husband, Riley, and our cat, Mowgli who is a rescue from Vermont!
